Vince Fontaine founder of Indian City and leader of the famed Indigenous music group Eagle & Hawk appears on the Red Road Radio Show Tuesday April 18th

Indian City is founded by Vince Fontaine leader of the famed Indigenous music group Eagle & Hawk. Indian City features a talented lineup of award winning artists and rising starts. Their unique fusion of lyrics, music and personalites capture the sound of a vibrant Indigenous culture. Indian City has been nominated for numerous Aboriginal Peoples’ Choice Music Awards (APCMA)

Based out of Winnipeg Manitoba in the heart of Turtle Island, Indian City brings to life music that stretches across a colourful landscape by fusing indigenous imagery with pop and alternative rock. The music group is a music community and collaboration on that can range in size from 5 to 10 people on stage. Drawing their inspiration from the rich heritage of Indigenous spirit, Indian City captures it all.

The band consists of Vince Fontaine, lead singers Pamela Davis, Jay Bodner, Don Amero, Jeremy Koz vocalist Neewa Mason, Atik Mason on bass, Gerry Atwell, Rena Semenko on keyboard and Rich Reid on drums. Guest musicians include traditonal powwow singer Ray Coco Stevenson, and vocalist Rena Semenko.

Indian City has three album releases to date Supernation (2012), Colors (2014), and Here &Now (2017).Indian City has performed across Canada and the US including Canada Day in Ottawa, Canada Winter Games, Pan Am Games, Ab Day Live, Casino Rama and the APCMA to name a few. Indian City brings a strong entertaining show to the stage.
